We are now looking for a Business Development & Sales Manager, Plastic Mechanics to drive business growth and develop new customer relationships, particularly within industrial and healthcare OEM segments.
Role overview
In this role, you will drive Fibox’s Plastic Mechanics business in Central Europe by acquiring new customers and developing long-term partnerships with OEM and industrial clients.
You will act as a key commercial interface between customers, engineering, and operations, ensuring that customer needs are translated into competitive technical and commercial solutions.
Your main focus will be on industrial OEMs and healthcare equipment manufacturers, for example:
- Industrial companies such as automation or electrical equipment manufacturers
- Healthcare technology companies and medical equipment manufacturers
- Other global or regional OEM players requiring plastic mechanical solutions
Key responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition in the plastic mechanics / plastic injection molding business
- Develop and grow OEM accounts in industrial and healthcare segments
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Identify new business opportunities and proactively develop the market
- Manage project-based B2B sales processes and customer negotiations
- Coordinate customer requirements, proposals, and RFQs with engineering teams
- Contribute to market and competitor analysis
- Maintain structured sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management
- Work closely with Fibox’s international organization
What we are looking for
- Proven track record in plastic injection molding sales or related technical sales to industrial and healthcare OEMs
- Strong experience in project-based B2B sales
- Direct selling experience to OEMs or end customers in industrial/automation environments
- Existing customer network enabling fast market entry
- Strong commercial mindset with ability to lead negotiations and close deals
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to coordinate with engineering on technical concepts, customer-specific requirements, proposals, and RFQs
- Solid market and competitor analysis capability
- Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel as required by customer and project needs
The following will be considered an advantage
- Understanding of plastic injection molding technology
- Knowledge of plastic mechanics or subcontract manufacturing
- Experience with industrial customer quality and technical requirements
- Experience in international sales environments
